Kerem HaShachar was born from love for the Land of Israel and in memory of Shachar Fridman z”l, who fell heroically defending his homeland. On the edge of the Judean Desert, we chose to turn pain into growth and memory into living roots. For us, every vine we plant is an act of faith in life’s ability to grow even from the deepest loss. כרם השחר נולד מתוך אהבה לאדמת ארץ ישראל ולזכרו של שחר פרידמן ז״ל, שנפל בגבורה על הגנת המולדת. על ספר מדבר יהודה, בחרנו להפוך את הכאב לצמיחה ואת הזיכרון לשורשים חיים. עבורנו, כל גפן שנטענו היא מעשה של אמונה ביכולת של החיים לצמוח גם מתוך האובדן העמוק ביותר.

Here, facing the landscape and silence of the desert, we choose to remember, to heal, and to mend. This is a story of revival woven into every vine, and poured into every glass. כאן, אל מול הנוף והשקט המדברי, אנו בוחרים לזכור, להתרפא ולרפא. זהו סיפור של תקומה השזור בכל גפן, ונמזג לכל כוס.

At 500 meters above sea level, facing breathtaking sunrises and a primordial landscape, Kerem HaShachar was planted. Here, at the dramatic meeting point between the fertile earth and the Judean Desert, magic happens: a persistent western wind caresses the vines, and sun-drenched days give way to cool desert nights. These temperature swings grant our grapes the complexity and freshness that great wine demands. One taste, and the landscape is already inside you. בגובה 500 מטרים מעל פני הים, אל מול זריחות עוצרות נשימה ונוף בראשיתי, ניטע כרם השחר. כאן, בנקודת המפגש הדרמטית שבין האדמה הפורייה למדבר יהודה, מתרחש הקסם: רוח מערבית עקבית מלטפת את הגפנים, וימים שטופי שמש מתחלפים בלילות מדבר צוננים. פערי הטמפרטורה הללו מעניקים לענבים שלנו את המורכבות והרעננות שיין נהדר דורש. טעימה אחת, והנוף כבר בפנים.
